Hi friends. If you guys have completed your P.U.C or Class 12 and are looking to study further, I have a suggestion for you. Take a look at an institute named Institute of Management Studies and Training (IMST) located at Bangalore, which has been providing quality education for professionals who wish to study. Just to let you all know, IMST has been recognized by Perry Johnson Registrars, which is a premier ISO certified registrar body having multiple accreditation. If you take a look at the official PJR website, you can find IMST listed under approved and recognized institutes. Another happy fact to know is that IMST is the first institute to get an ISO 9001:2008 certification from PJR in India.
IMST offers a variety of courses including DBA, GDBA, EMBA, PGDBA, CCA, CFM, MBA, DMS, DCA, GDCA, PGDCA, MCA, Web Designing and many more! The institute also offers BBM, BCom, BCA, BEd, MEd and other courses which are recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The most preferred course however is the GDBA (Graduation Diploma in Business Administration) as this course has been carefully designed with the core concepts and is up to date to match the current industry requirements.
The institute charges a very nominal fee for every course and also provides you with all the necessary study material. Remember that all courses are available only through Distance Education (Correspondence) however, you can attend weekend classes at the institute if you wish to clarify any doubts that you have, regarding your respective chosen subjects.
IMST has a very distinctive mission and I believe that this is what makes them a very reputed institute among several hundreds of other institutes. Their mission states “To be a premium global institution with a clear focus on all the training that we impart. To educate and to prepare student community for professional excellence in a fast growing complex world”. Now the mission of IMST is so meaningful and it definitely adds quality to the institute’s reputation.
There are thousands of graduates who have studied at IMST and over 90% of them are working at the top companies across the globe. Every company recognizes IMST as the degrees that they offer are not “one-sitting” or “quick-mode” types. In order to earn a degree from IMST you will have to study compulsorily for three years. Though it is distance education, strict measures are employed during examination and evaluation all of answer scripts are done by senior professors. The results of each semester would be up on the notice boards in their institute, or you can always check it on their official website.
So friends, if you are not a graduate but wish to complete it through distance education then you are definitely at the right place. Join IMST, a premier education institution providing educational services since 1995, and complete your graduation through distance education. If you you wish to join IMST situated at KalyanNagar in Bengaluru, contact them on 080-40851700 or take a look at the official RSIDT website for more information.
There are several other recognized institutes as well, that offers quality distance education programs – Karnataka Sate Open University (KSOU), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Mysore University, Kuvempu University, Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) and many more. So ensure that you take a look at all the universities before applying, as every university offers unique pattern of exams and and provides a varied set of grades. So make sure you do check with every university before applying.
Remember – Do not join institutes that offer a Bachelor’s degree in one year / two years. Make sure that your Bachelor’s degree is a three/four year correspondence degree OR a three/four year full time degree (four years in case of BTech / B.E).
So if a Bachelor’s degree is offered in a year or two, it might not be recognized. Also, several corporates insist on a 3-year / 4-year Bachelor’s degree. So I strongly suggest you to join an institute or a college that offers a 3-year / 4-year degree.
Cheers and Good luck !!
